It's true that I get mad and vulgar all because of them, and it hurts so bad while marking their scripts and seeing marks which make you feel like a complete failure. But there's always a sense of joy and satisfaction when these cupcakes come up to say hi and tell you about their day yada yada. It is so touching when they plead, and I mean literally go down to their knees, just to beg you to stay. I was marking SEQs and it warms my heart to see the progress that some of them made; from failing terribly to a decent A1 grade. Call it a love-hate relationship, I'd say it's more of the former.
After these 3 months, I can confidently say that teaching isn't so much of my cup of tea. The only part I enjoyed was the interaction with the kids and the colleagues, other than that is hell. The workload and things you'll have to deal with in the staff room, there was only one phrase that went through my mind then: FML. Hahaha and now, I'm in a dilemma. Should I continue relief teaching?
